The National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC) conducted Borrowers’ Orientation for prospective homebuyers of Valle Alegre in Brgy. Bubuyan, Calamba, Laguna on July 31, 2021. The event was organized by Filinvest Land, Inc. in partnership with various stakeholders. In observance of the safety measures and health protocols, the activity was set in two batches to maintain a minimum number of participants.

Mr. Rodel Leocario of NHMFC Marketing Department introduced the Socialized Housing Loan Takeout of Receivables (SHeLTeR) Program, which offers a liquidity facility to originators engaged in socialized housing and provides affordable housing loans to low-income homebuyers. He discussed the housing loan application process that interested buyers will undergo for the approval of their accounts.

More than 60 prospective buyers participated in the activity and submitted their applications for the SHeLTeR Program.

NHMFC has previously taken out Filinvest Land’s housing projects under NHMFC’s SHeLTeR Program, and a number of accounts for takeout are also in the pipeline.
