OPENING OF BIDS. NHMFC President Renato L. Tobias welcomes the virtual attendees and bidders during the opening of bids and the announcement of the most responsive bidders during the NHMFC Online Housing Fair 2023. The event, which was done via hybrid set up, was attended online by bidders and guests via Zoom while the Acquired Assets Bids and Awards Committee (AABAC) and NHMFC officers and staff were at NHMFC Makati head office.

The National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC) opened a total of 134 bids for the sale of 91 acquired properties during its Online Housing Fair 2023 held today via a hybrid set-up. Bidding period via online registration was held from May 19 to June 20, 2023.

Out of 134 bidders, 36 were declared as the highest bidders amounting to more than P37 million total bid amount.            

In his message, NHMFC President Renato L. Tobias stated that the corporation has been on a “mission” to provide decent and affordable housing to the Filipinos.

“We hope that through this event, we would be able to fulfill our goal for you to have a place you can call your own – your home,” Pres. Tobias said.

The opening of bids was done by the Acquired Assets Bids and Awards Committee in the presence of representatives from the Commission on Audit (COA) and Internal Audit Department (IAD).  

This event is the first of the 2-part Online Housing Fair for this year.  The second housing fair will be during the National Shelter Month in October 2023.
